Hike to Blue Mountains peak

On our quest to continue our fitness program and make it fun, we will be heading to the Blue Mountain Peaks in June.We have decided that we don't want to be stuck in the gym, doing the same routine over and over again which will give you results no doubt but can become very boring. When we do hikes we get to see our country, how beautiful it is and that we need to care our land. Relaxing the mind, in a calm soothing atmosphere. While being challenged physically by the terrain and when you finally reach on top of the mountain which is the highest point in Jamaica you feel a sense of accomplishment not to mention the beauty thats there to see.


I love this kind of challenge, in the army we did a lot of hiking, field craft, very challenging but when you do it you know you have done a workout. I would like to take the time out to tell people that its not only gym workouts that can give you the body you want, there are many ways to get fit and stay fit. Taking up a sport, learning a new sport can be challenging, physically and mentally, keeps your brain sharp. They say we become old when we stop learning new things. So start a home program today, get with friends, plan little outings, beach walks, hiking, walks in the park, swimming laps in a pool or at the beach or just getting together and doing a Fitness DVD, there are so many options don't let because you don't have the money for gym fee, you don't get fit.
